Welcome to the World Clarinet Alliance Official Site. As you have noticed by the many Resource and News Pages, this has become a vital primary source of information for all levels of players and interests, and is intended to expand horizons and make possible vital advancements for all players, students and professionals alike, and give a truly International perspective on the Community of Clarinet Performance and Education.
This site wants to give you lots of hopefully interesting and useful information. It is my intention to serve the beginner as well as the experienced players. It is a non-profit project by one amateur clarinettist, so it's neither sponsored by the instrument industry nor is it trying to sell you anything except maybe the author's enthusiasm.
The Orchestra: A User's Manual is a free resource and will remain so. It still receives between 8,000 and 16,000 unique visits per month from all over the world. See the testimonials. Thanks to all the donations, I have been able to create this responsive re-design. But the movies and sound clips recorded in 2004 do show their age. I would really like to re-record everything and add many more techniques, especially for solo and ensemble writing. I estimate this will cost around £30,000.
