Harp: Glissandos

About the various types of glissando:

Glissandos can be executed using single notes, chords, and with one or both hands (travelling in the same or opposite directions). They are notated with a straight line between the notes and the word gliss written above. There are various finger positions, as outlined below, which give a variety of timbres. Pedal glissandos are also possible. Enharmonic tunings enable a limited range of harmonies.

Here are some typical dominant 7ths:

Pedal Glissandos

Pedal glissando is executed by moving the pedal up or down a semitone while the note is sounding. It is an inaudible effect above C6, but works well in the low register:
